I am sure after you start to read some of my posts you might wonder what the "Worm Rating" and "Worm Count" actually mean. Well in this short post that will be detailed in full.

Worm Count

This rating is simply a number out of 100 that I felt accurately described how much I enjoyed a film. I take into account how it made me feel during and after the screening, as well as the technicalities such as writing and cinematography.

Worm Rating

There are four different tiers of this rating and are detailed below.

Golden Worm:

This is the highest rating I can give and I usually reserve this for my most favorite films. These films usually put everything together in terms of emotional impact, cinematography, writing, etc. This ranking correlated with a 90 and above out of 100 for worm count.

Worm Approved:

This ranking is the most common from me as a reviewer. This rating simply means that I loved the film and would recommend it to any of my readers but it simply is lacking it one or more of the areas I stated in Golden worm. This rating correlates to a 70-90 out of 100 for worm count.

Worm:

Worm is the second lowest rating on this scale. This rating is reserved for films that were simply just okay. These are films that really didn't do it for me emotionally and maybe does one good technicality well. I would usually recommend these films for something to watch when bored or for specific people. This rating correlates to 50-70 out of 100 for worm count

Fish Bait:

Fish bait is reserved for the worst of the worst. I really dislike these films and would not recommend anyone watch. It would simply be a waste of time. As i would say, Feed it to the fishes!! This correlates to 50 and below out of 100 for worm count.
